Annual SCOSUG Summer Bar-B-Q!Where: Sleeping Giant State Park, Hamden, CT When: Saturday, August 19th, 2pm until close
This year, we're returning to Sleeping Giant State Park as the site of our annual picnic. There are a lot of fun things to do there, and we'll attempt to do most of them. There's picnic areas, hiking trails, a cool old tower at the top of the hill to poke around in. Various members of the group will be bringing some kind of food in a pot-luck manner, and some of the basic requirements (charcoal, meat (or veggie substitutes, etc.) have been coordinated by the SCOSUG executive board. There'll probably be a frisbee or two, or even a football or something to throw around. Maybe we'll play wiffleball. You never know what we'll do when we all get in "the big room" together. There are also a lot of trees, filled with squirrels, so be on the lookout!
